The staff was really friendly and my cocktail was decent. Had to wait a bit once it got busy, but overall it was a good experience lol.

The boat actually left right on time and got back exactly when they said it would. i was ready to blame them if our dinner plans got messed up, but there was no waiting around or hassle at all. Super easy experience and I was really happy with it...

It definitely had a nice old-time steamboat vibe, which I liked. I’ll admit I was a little suspicious about how much of it was truly original versus just made to look old, but it still felt charming. Only downside was that it got crowded.

I went into the Steamboat Natchez buffet with modest expectations, but the food kind of swooped in like a little dinner-time plot twist. The chicken was fresh and flavorful, the bread pudding was the real star of the show, and overall everything felt hearty and satisfying without trying to be some grand fine-dining spectacle.

The only reason I’m landing on 4 stars is because a few of the sides were a bit lukewarm by the time they made it to my plate, which was mildly tragic. But for a meal on a boat, I was genuinely happy with it, and I’d absolutely eat there again.

The boat ride itself was fun and the staff were friendly, but the boat felt a little run-down. Some of the tables were sticky, and the bathroom really could have used a proper cleaning before people got on board.

The views were great, which made it even more frustrating because we had planned to relax and grab food afterward, but we ended up feeling kind of gross and changed our plans. It wasn’t a horrible experience, but they definitely need to stay on top of cleaning and small repairs. 3 stars from me

One person helped us find a good spot for photos, and another checked in on us with a smile. Nothing over the top, just kind and welcoming, which is really all you need to make the experience feel better

We booked the Natchez cruise during our New Orleans trip and, shockingly, it was actually a really good time. Check-in was easy, the river views were lovely, and the jazz band made the whole thing feel way more special than just floating around on a boat should. We had a decent time on the boat, and the buffet was better organized than I expected at first. The food stayed stocked and the staff did help when we asked, which I appreciated. But once everyone started going up at the same time, it got crowded and confusing fast. Once we were actually on the boat, everything was totally fine, so I don’t want to make it sound like the whole thing was a disaster. But the check-in and boarding part threw me off more than I expected.
There weren’t really clear signs telling people where to line up, and different staff members seemed to give slightly different answers about tickets. I kind of used the usual mental shortcut of “popular tourist thing = organized process,” so I figured we’d just show up, scan tickets, and get on. Instead, we ended up standing around longer than planned while everyone crowded near the entrance trying to figure out what was happening.
It wasn’t the worst experience by any means, but it did start the trip on a stressful note. For something set up for tourists, I just expected the boarding process to be smoother and a little more obvious.

At first I thought this was going to keep the kids busy for a while, and it seemed okay. Then suddenly they were over it, and so was I. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be easier or more engaging for younger kids.

I’ve used a few tour booking sites in the past that felt clunky, so I appreciated that the dates and times were easy to find and checkout didn’t drag on. My confirmation email came through right away too. The only small issue was that the ticket page loaded a little slowly on my phone, and I had to refresh it once. Nothing major though — I’d definitely use it again.

It was worth every dollar. Not perfect or nothing, but for the price I’m happy with it.

I really liked this route, mostly because the river views were so nice. It did feel a little short, although maybe that’s just because the scenery made it go by fast, so I guess that’s kind of a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.

The live jazz on the Natchez totally made the whole ride for me. Like, why don’t more places get this right? The band was great, the volume was perfect, loud enough to enjoy but not blasting over every conversation, and it just made everything feel relaxed and fun. I went in expecting a nice boat ride, and somehow the music ended up being the thing I’m still talking about. I’d absolutely go again

I really enjoyed this river tour. The narration was easy to follow and added a lot of meaning to what we were seeing along the way. It wasn’t just a nice ride on the water—it helped me appreciate the history and stories behind the places we passed. Interesting and definitely worth doing
